This is a supportive space to practice, receive, and build confidence in giving treatments, while tuning in to your own energy and the needs of others.

A day of stretching throughout the whole body utilizing the Osteopathic Muscle Energy Technique. The workshop covers the physiological principles and understanding of MET while applying to specific muscles in the body.

Advanced Remedial Massage Series – Neck

Focusing on the neck and its large range of musculoskeletal pain syndromes, this workshop will refresh your skill level and provide innovative techniques to add to your additional kit of tools to work with your client’s remedial issues. Learners will receive skills that give the ability to provide a treatment to most musculoskeletal conditions of the neck. Each category will be provided with both theory and practical skills. Skills associated the neck release include Positional release, cranial balancing, neural/fascial release, individual vertebrae assessment and soft release, dermal release, acute trauma soft tissue release. And brachial nerve pathway assessment and release.
Cranial Balancing
Wednesdays – 5 weeks. April 22nd to May 20th – Venue Yandina, 10am to 1pm

Learn the art of cranial balancing, a powerful tool to add to any treatment. Cranial balancing is practiced worldwide and is trained in many universities within Osteopathy qualifications. As a therapy tool, it can help a practitioner assist with body wide health responses for many conditions. You will learn to assess and help with the healthy motion of cranial bones with understanding of how it can help the individual client with their symptom relief. This therapy is dueling with a deep level of anatomical knowledge and a subtle powerful tactile approach.
Abdominal / Visceral Release

Focus on advanced remedial massage techniques and assessment for the abdominal organs. Learners will cover techniques and advanced anatomical understandings for a range of viscera and connecting fascia within the abdomen. Learn anatomy and new osteopathic style release skills to renew your remedial massage level and skills. The abdominal organs are the key to an increased life of health. They can be an integral part of many pain syndromes within the body from the deep seated tensions and restrictions that can reside within them. Learners will be working with the stomach, liver, colon, greater omentum, gallbladder, Ileocecal valve,
Abdominal artery blood supply and vagus nerve. This treatment will easily help to increase your client’s health, provide pain relief and provide the practitioner with a skill set to take you beyond the normal level of practitioner abilities.
